Most of the cookies used by the provider are so-called "session cookies" that are deleted as soon as the user ends the browser session. Objecting to data storage - exclusion of Webtrekk web controlling
Pursuant to section 15 of the TMG, website visitors can object to storage of their visitor data acquired in pseudonymised form. This means that in the future such data are no longer collected (acquired).
For exclusion from Webtrekk web controlling, a cookie with the name "webtrekkOptOut" is set by the domain www.intercityhotel.com. This objection applies for as long as you do not delete this cookie. The cookie is to be set for the specified domain for each browser and computer. If, for example, you visit our website from home and from your computer at work, or you are using different browsers, you have to set the cookie of each computer and browser in use.
This website also uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc., based in Mountain View, United States ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis on how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the US and stored there.
Since IP anonymisation (so-called IP masking) provided by Google is activated on this website (by extension of Google Analytics to include the code “gat._anonymizeIp();”), your IP address will, however, be truncated beforehand and therefore anonymized by Google within the area of the European Union or within other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the whole IP address be transferred to a Google server in the US and truncated there.
Google will use the information collected by Google Analytics on behalf of the website’s operator to evaluate your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other website usage and Internet-related services to the website’s operator. The IP address that your browser conveys within the scope of Google Analytics will not be associated with any other data held by Google.
You can also opt out from being tracked by Google Analytics with effect from the future by setting a so-called “opt-out cookie”, which prevents any future collection of your data when you visit this website. The opt-out cookie is set when you click on the following link:Click here to opt-out of Google Analytics.
The operator of this website also uses Google Analytics to evaluate data from AdWords and DoubleClick cookies for statistical purposes. If you do not want this, you can disable it via the ad settings manager (http://www.google.com/settings/ads?hl=en).
When contacting us, the Provider of the website (for example using a contact form or by E-Mail), your data are stored for processing the request and in the event that subsequent queries should arise.

The internet presence includes content of third parties such as videos of YouTube and map materials of Google Maps (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers"). To use such content, the user’s IP address for technical reasons must be sent to the respective third-party provider, since without the IP address the third-party providers would not be able to send the content included in the website to the browser of the respective user. We do not have any control over whether a third-party provider stores the IP address e.g. for statistical purposes or otherwise.

If a user is a member of Facebook and does not wish Facebook to collect data about him via the provider’s Internet presence and to link it to his membership data stored at Facebook, he must log off from Facebook before visiting the internet presence.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for the user’s browser, for example with the "Facebook blocker".
